First Family Outing of The New Year
January 1st, 2013
Our first family outing of the new year was to see the Rose Parade in my hometown. Growing up in Pasadena I’ve been to a handful of Rose Parade. My kid brother and I used to camp out on Colorado Blvd on New Years Eve to ensure we got the best seat, and we did! It was so fun. We would bring a tent and our sleeping bags and camp out in the middle of the street. For a kid that was the most exciting thing ever!
This year it was Josh and Oliver’s first ever Rose Parade. We didn’t camp out, but my dad did. I hope when Oliver and Zoe gets bigger that they too can camp out to see the Rose Parade. I have so many wonderful memories of it. I’d love to share those memories with them.

Too bad we got there late and couldn’t get to the spot my dad saved for us

After the Rose Parade we went to me and Josh’s old breakfast spot, Square One. Josh and I used to go here quiet frequently when we both lived in Hollywood. It was a special treat that we got to eat here like old times. It was just as good as I remembered.

Oliver hung over from the New Years eve party!

Intelligentsia coffee a.k.a the best coffee ever!

Their Hungarian Sausage is so good!
